We enjoyed reading this novel in our homeschool studies. It reminded us of the Narnia books and the Pilgrims Progres rolled into one. The study guide was a great addition to our curriculum. It includes questions for each chapter as well as vocabulary word to study. We feel like this study guide really enhanced our reading of the book. The questions were all very thought provoking and I loved hearing what my daughters answers to them were. You can't go wrong with this guide paired with this classic novel. We will be on the look out for more items from this publisher in the future! it was very easy for the parent to prepare. Just download and put into a notebook and you are ready to learn!...
A Christmas Adventure
Very fun. It's for daily use and doesn't rely on the previous day's activity. So, you can do what you want when you want. Lots of recipes. Haven't had a chance to make any yet, but planning on it. Nice job!
We had purchased these before at another church and absolutely loved them. Took me forever to finally find them again to use at our new church. Absolutely love them!!!!! An excellent way to teach the books of the bible along with specific facts in the books.
My only wish is that once you purchase them whether digitally or not you could get hardcopies of them also.
What a fun product for the holiday season. This children's book which combines singing and the written word and picture is sure to bring smiles to the faces of children of all ages. You can use this in a listening corner to help improve reading skills. It will help the child see the words as the song and story is told. As a Christain family we loe the fact that this product brings the focus of the holiday season back to where it belong, to the birth of Jesus.
What a great idea to have a wall map with this book. The pictures are mainly from older, master works which introduces the student to beautiful art. There are no clip art graphics, which I appreciate. Most of the pictures are mostly in black and white so it is easy to save on ink, if you wish. The author gives clear instructions, including how to show when a character strays from his chosen path.
A great new an initiative way to learn more about Jesus. We liked that it was written in comic book form. We will look for more of these products in the future. These comic making reading about the bible fun and engaging. The art work is very detailed.
In the rush of the Christmas season we sometimes loose focus on the true reason for the season. This CD is filled with songs of faith that will help us put our focus back where it belongs, not only at Christmas but year round! This family sings beautifully. We really enjoyed playing it in our home.
What a neat product. The guide includes questions for each chapter, vocabulary words, a cross word puzzle, and ideas for projects to try based on the novel. We have used Bible Study Guide for many years. At home and in church, this is the most comprehensive study of the Bible we have ever used. The reviews and memory work make it fun and easy for everyone to have a complete recall of God's Word. Highly recommended for.all learning styles and all ages.
This is well put together, factually correct, good quality graphics, fairly straightforward construction, HOWEVER- I downloaded it intending to use it with my preschooler and I don't think that's going to work. This is way above his level. I would say this best fits 1st grade and up.
Tucking it away for later... Back to the hunt for a good Easter lesson...
The content is good in both the teacher's material and the student material in that it is focused on strong scripture knowledge and basis. I did order the same editions of Bibles for each of my students, I ordered six copies of the student curriculum so I would not violate copyright, and that helps the younger ones navigate more easily. While the scriptures are based out of the NIV, I selected a lower reading level version for the first and second graders I am teaching. This is only my second week to use the material, and so far I am enjoying it. I bring a great deal of enthusiasm to the class, and that makes a huge difference. If I only used the curriculum without any excitement about the content I believe the young children would find it too workbook and school oriented. That is not a criticism of the material, just a reminder to the teachers to do THEIR jobs....
